Ara (Ib fanfic) Chapter 6: Healing with Help

I woke up suddenly in a dark room surrounded by my friends all piled on the floor somewhere. I remembered what happened making me gasp which woke Garry up. I watched him walk over to me looking well rested as I started to prop myself up. I felt the bandaged wound slightly above my heart as he slide over next to me "Are you feeling better?" I looked up at his half-hearted smile "Yes...but why are you fake smiling?" The fake smile dropped from his face "Because you scared me...but I am trying to forget it and smile that you made it.." I looked at him in surprise blushing "Ohh...Well I'm also glad I made it as well..." I smiled at him and this time he really smiled "Aradia why are you blushing?! Are you feeling okay? Are you hot?" I looked at him blushing a bit more "No I.." I laughed a bit looking away feeling my face get hotter by the second. Garry was confused by the way I was acting "Aradia are you sure your okay?" he gently put a hand on my shoulder turning me to face him. He had come a bit closer to me our faces just a few inches apart. I don't know why but I put a hand on my wound and I felt his hand slide over mine lacing our fingers together "I-I'm sorry Aradia..If I had been closer to you this never would have happened..." He avoided my innocent eyes which flickered with sadness.

"No if I hadn't run off you and I wouldn't be like this..." I said tearing up a bit seeing him so choked up over me. He wiped away my tears gently as he pulled me on his lap "Please don't cry...Please..." He pleaded with sad eyes as I nodded slowly. He put his forehead against mine "A-Aradia there is something I have to tell you...." he said softly. I nodded unsure of what to expect figuring I was just dreaming again..."I REALLY like you.." I just let my heart decide. My arms swung over his shoulders and I kissed him slowly. He pulled my waist closer to him as he kissed back gently. His soft tongue slipped in my mouth and danced with mine happily. I felt him grind me slowly rubbing gently. After this incredible sensation that my therapist would have told me was bad I looked out the window. He took my hand and gently helped me over to the window...

"Snow..." I said in awe wondering if it was a vivid painting or a link to the real world. He smiled "You like snow right?" I nodded bouncing slightly with a happiness that overwhelmed me. Then I stopped "Are you and I in love? I mean I love you but what happens when you love me?" I said since I did not get the concept of love. He grinned swooping me up in his strong arms "Of course I love you. When two people love each other like you and I they date or become boyfriend and girlfriend." He explained as if I was a child. I nodded "So you and I are boyfriend and girlfriend? That's a commitment of love right?" He nodded "Yes we are and Yes it is." I smiled as we snuggled watching the light snowfall....
